Bulletin N°62 2026 The central issue in Palestine is that of colonialism; we are faced with a war of national liberation on the Palestinian side and a colonial war on the Zionist side.
Zionism, from its inception, is a colonial project, a colonial project of substitution, meaning that it aims to drive out or eradicate the indigenous population, the Palestinians, from their country and especially from their land.
The colonization of Palestine cannot be conceived without understanding the major role of Western imperialists; the Zionist colonial state is the organic extension of Western imperialism.
The dominant imperialisms (United Kingdom then USA) have long had in mind the creation of a fortified camp in the Middle East, in order to ensure the division of the Arab world, and then to control oil.
The meeting of the dominant powers and Zionist fascists, claiming to represent Judaism, led to the establishment of substitute colonialism and the Zionist colonial state.
The absolute support of the Western powers is linked to the initial project of a buffer state, which became vital at a time when another imperialist bloc, centered around China, was challenging the dominant role of the USA.
The vital aspect explains the complicity and denial of the genocide, which, however, is taking place before our eyes; it also explains the silence in the face of the targeted murders of journalists, caregivers, humanitarians and children.
The question of Judaism is not actually taken into account, it is a pretext: there are only European emigrants who, from the beginning of the 20th century until 1948, even before the creation of the Zionist colonial state, came to drive out the Palestinians and colonize their land.
There is no such thing as a progressive Zionist; when you agree to land on land bought by bankers from gentry and drive out those who work it, you are not progressive.
There is no ceasefire in Gaza; there cannot be one when it is organized by the colonialists' sponsor.
As long as the genocidal Zionist colonial state exists in its current form, colonization will continue; the national liberation of Palestine therefore implies its dismantling.
The "Al-Aqsa Flood" operation of October 7, 2023 is an anti-colonial resistance operation, carried out by five Palestinian armed organizations, against the Zionist colonial state, like November 1, 1954 in Algeria or the Tet Offensive in Vietnam.
Although it condemns the genocide (early for LFI, much later for the others), the French left as a whole does not defend the national liberation of Palestine; the PS is the heir of the SFIO with its heavy colonial past; the PCF and LFI adhere to UN resolutions (the latest of which establishes Trump's "Board of Peace") and the pseudo two-state solution, while condemning the Palestinian Resistance, which is tantamount to maintaining the Zionist colonial state.
The at least ambiguous attitude of Thorez's PCF at the time of Algerian independence, unlike the PCA, and the colonialist position of LFI on Western Sahara or Greenland are not isolated acts; they stem from a long history of the French left being far removed from anti-colonialism, after the PCF's turn in 1934, a PCF whose anti-colonial position at the time of the Rif War honors its history.
Contrary to the claims of some Trotskyists and even some organizations of the international communist movement, there is no "Israeli proletariat"; the proletariat of the Zionist colonial state is composed of Palestinians, with or without citizenship, and Asian or Ethiopian migrants.
Consequently, claiming to want the "fraternization of the Palestinian and Israeli proletariats" is a position detached from reality and, above all, a position that disregards the colonial situation by conflating proletarians and settlers in the Zionist entity.
The dominant bourgeois ideology always uses lies, but the Zionist movement is a champion in this area; the Zionists have always promoted a false narrative, from the beginning with their famous: "a land without a people for a people without a land" ; besides the denial of the existence of the Palestinians, the main lie lies in the notion of "Jewish people", which does not exist.
This explains the instrumentalization of the Holocaust and anti-Semitism; the founders of the Zionist colonial state had nothing to do with the survivors of the Holocaust; they had been living in Palestine for 15 to 40 years.
Zionist colonialists are posing as spokespeople for the Jews, while millions of Jews around the world are anti-Zionist and do not want the genocide of the Palestinians to be committed in their name.
Regarding the Revolutionary Communist Party, the struggle of the Palestinian Resistance, which directly confronts the vanguard of Western imperialism, is vital for the proletariat of the entire planet; the Palestinians are a people active in their own history, fighting against Zionism, imperialism and reaction, in favor of their national liberation, a long struggle whose centrality and strategic nature for our own emancipation we must recognize.
The Zionist colonial state will fall, that is the direction of history; and Palestine will be free from the sea to the Jordan!
