Dehumanize and exterminate Palestinians
For more than four months, the colonialist State of Israel has pursued its goal of killing as many Palestinians as possible, terrorizing them, starving them, forcibly displacing them, cutting off all supplies or restricting them. at most, all accompanied by a speech aimed at dehumanizing them or an absence of speech so that the world forgets them. Israel kills journalists, health workers, UN employees, civilians, in short all the witnesses to this organized genocide. The daily life of Palestinian refugees in Rafah or Khan Younes is bombing and shooting by soldiers, the frantic search for food and water, the search for material to make a makeshift shelter, simply searching, not to live. , but to survive.
The final phase of this plan is underway. The bombings have begun to hit Rafah, a city where 1.3 million Palestinians are crowded together, and Netanyahu announces the ground assault “when the civilians have evacuated” even though this inveterate liar knows well that no evacuation is possible.
Mobilization bears fruit
Outrage and mobilization continue around the world, despite attempts by governments to prevent it (in Germany and the United States). Millions of people continue, day after day, to demand a permanent ceasefire and true peace.
The proof that this mobilization is working is that, even if they do not let go of Israel, the main Western imperialist governments, USA first, are beginning to raise their voices for the massacre to stop. Arab countries seem to be waking up. Jordan asks Israel to renounce the assault on Rafah, Egypt indicates that, if it takes place, it will suspend the Treaty of Camp David, which binds the two countries and marked the end of their conflict in 1979! For Western countries, it is the accusation of being responsible and no longer just complicit in the genocide that weighs and for Arab countries that of not supporting their Palestinian brothers.
This is not enough, especially since the US is negotiating a plan for a Palestinian state without consulting any of the Palestinian Resistance movements, with only the corrupt Palestinian Authority. And that they, once again, vetoed a resolution demanding an immediate ceasefire, presented by Algeria. We must prevent the assault on Rafah!!!
All over the world, the struggle of workers and people is gaining strength to stop the massacre.
The dominant discourse is working at full capacity
Even if more and more voices try to be heard to denounce the reality of the genocide perpetrated in Gaza and for France to return to its old political orientation on the subject, abandoned since Sarkozy, the bar is maintained on unconditional support for Israel, both at the level of the French State and the media .
It is not uncommon for those who would like to denounce the situation in Gaza to be asked to give their opinion on Hamas or the captives, called “ hostages ”.
Minimize the reality reported by witnesses
We should also note the treatment reserved for the disturbing comments of certain witnesses returning from Gaza. No media focuses on the assassinations of journalists, healthcare workers or UN staff. When humanitarian doctors returning from Gaza claim that they have never seen anything so horrible, our media seem obliged to relay it. On the other hand, when they declare that in two weeks, they have not seen any combatants in the hospital, only civilians, this is never repeated. On the contrary, the destruction of the Al-Nasser hospital in Khan Younes is almost justified by the fact that the Zionist army arrested “ suspects ” there.
Spread Zionist propaganda continuously
Since October 7, the French media have relayed the Zionist war propaganda without any doubt, any precaution, any conditions. The list is long, from decapitated babies to Al-Nasser " suspects ", including accusations of rape without complainant or witness (according to the Israeli police themselves), Al-Shifa hospital bombed by Palestinians and the denial of the number of deaths that goes with it, the weapons caches under hospitals, UNRWA employees affiliated with Hamas, etc. No “ journalist ” tries to verify anything!
And yet, anyone knows that war propaganda is necessarily false. And Israeli propaganda is world champion in this area, since it was built from the start on a huge lie, that of a “ land without people ”. Netanyahu is a master on this subject: repeated lies about the application of the Oslo Accords, invention of the guilt of the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem in the Jewish holocaust, artifices to mask his own corruption. We remember that, receiving Netanyahu as the new prime minister in 2006, Jacques Chirac told him: “ I don’t believe any word that comes out of your mouth. Your only policy is to provoke the Palestinians. ".
The absolute weapon of anti-Semitism
But the peak of Zionist propaganda relays is Macron's speech during the tribute to the victims of October 7, in which he declares that the attack by Palestinian fighters is: " the greatest anti-Semitic massacre of our century ".
The French Jewish Union for Peace (UJFP) responded to him, and in a very beautiful way, in a text entitled: “ No, Mr. Macron, anti-Semitism is not the cause of the October 7 massacre! ". The editor of the UJFP first recalls the situation in Gaza, as well as the order of the ICJ, two things that Macron does not mention at any time in his speech. Then he writes this when speaking of our authorized representative of Grand Capital: “ He knowingly made a major confusion: the victims of the October 7 attack were not killed as Jews. Unfortunately, for their misfortune, they were killed as members of a colonial and now fascist state, which for 16 years has imprisoned more than two million people in a ghetto whose walls it built. Sixteen years in complete illegality and with the complicity of so-called civilized nations! Sixteen years continuously until the breach of October 7 . ". We know that Macron is not known for his empathy towards people, especially for national liberation fighters, but how can we not understand that, on October 7, hundreds of Palestinians simply came out of the cage? And the UJFP continues: “ Mr. Macron seems to be completely ignorant of international law. Resisting occupation and oppression is a right and even a duty. The occupation of Palestine is illegal and the many French people living in the colonies are violating international law. The thousands of French people engaged in the Israeli army participate in crimes against humanity and genocide. By knowingly mixing Jews and Israelis, by making Palestine a people of anti-Semites, Mr. Macron is not protecting the Jews. He puts them in danger. He makes them accomplices in a genocide about which he is strangely silent. It destroys the memory of anti-Semitism and the Nazi genocide which have nothing to do with support for a supremacist regime led by fascists. »
Last weapon: censorship and repression
When, despite all the efforts of " journalists ", it becomes impossible to hide the genocide, to prevent the contextualization of current events within a colonial war which has lasted for 76 years, to block all avenues to the truth, then , there remains censorship and repression against those who speak too correctly.
Attacking CGT struggle activists
Secretary-general of the CGT Departmental Union of the North, Jean-Paul Delescaut is dragged before the Lille criminal court on March 28 for “ apology of terrorism ”. He is accused of extracts from a leaflet which contextualizes the events of October 7 and does not use the sacrosanct concept of “ terrorism ”. Explaining is not justifying, but the state's henchmen don't care.
Of course, this attack on the freedom of speech of trade unionists is part of the largest campaign of anti-union repression underway in this country against class struggle activists (but not against those of the FNSEA). But it has a specific character because of the subject, Palestine. Its echoes resonate as attempts to intimidate activists of solidarity with the Palestinian people and their rights.
Attacking all anti-colonialists
Abdel, is a 44-year-old from Montpellier, anti-colonialist activist. At the end of a demonstration against Israel's war in Gaza on November 4, he spoke and described the October 7 attack as " a heroic act of resistance ", emphasizing the capacity of Palestinian fighters to " outmaneuver one of the world's leading military superpowers . Obviously, he didn't use the term terrorist, either.
Abdel was tried before the Montpellier Criminal Court on February 8. The prosecutor wanted to mask the political nature of the trial and the sentence he proposed. He criticized Abdel for making “ comments publicly advocating an act of terrorism ”. On the one hand, he maintained that this concept of terrorism was well supported in French law, on the other the accused and his lawyers rejected any legal value to this word and relied on the " right of resistance to a colonial oppression .
Note that the host of Zionist civil party organizations (CRIF, LICRA, UEJF) have of course pleaded for a sanction, distinguishing between barbarism (the attack of October 7) and civilization (the Gaza genocide). Abdel risks a sentence of twelve months' imprisonment with a probationary suspension of eighteen months, with during this period a ban on attendance at any public demonstration, as well as the completion of a citizenship course. Under advisement, the verdict will be delivered on February 21.
Abdel must not be condemned, nor should those who fight for an immediate ceasefire, those who support the national liberation struggle of the Palestinian people, be sanctioned.
Continue and develop solidarity with the Palestinian people
Throughout France, demonstrations or rallies in solidarity with the Palestinians are being held, particularly on Saturdays. If there are, from time to time, demonstrations in Paris or other large cities at the call of the very broad Committee for a Just and Lasting Peace in the Middle East, this is not the main thing. Firstly because these initiatives are less and less held and less and less unifying; secondly and above all because the position defended is far from reality, it is still that of the wrongs shared between a colonialist State and a colonized people. But, in many medium-sized towns, within a union or association framework, notably with the AFPS or the UJFP, rallies or demonstrations take place regularly.
It is this struggle that will make it possible to stop the arm of the Zionist state and its US or EU supporters. We must increase the pressure on the imperialists who support Israel to win peace. We must demand economic and diplomatic sanctions against Israel and an end to arms sales.
The Communist Revolutionary Party recalls that peace means first of all a ceasefire, free access to all humanitarian workers and the withdrawal of occupying troops; then the dismantling of the colonies and the right of return for all those banished since 1948; finally impose the idea of the right of Palestinians to a single, secular state on the territory of Mandatory Palestine.
